The tallest peak in Oregon and one of the loftiest mountains in the nation, Mount Hood is actually an active volcano (although scientists estimate its chances of eruption at about four percent). The mountain is home to 12 glaciers and is the only peak in North America that offers year-round skiing. This 4 1/4” solid smooth maple has a deep brown color with a hint of gray as a tribute to the mountain’s glacial presence.
